A centerpiece of realities, a cornucopia of creatures, a collection of characters – Tomodachi Island rests between shores called obscurity, surrounded by all sides by a sea called the past, and this is where you, confused traveler have found yourself. Things are more peaceful that you've ever experienced in your original world. The sun shines brightly, the children laugh happily, your home and your happiness are nearly guaranteed. But this isn't home. Long gone are the people once knew, the laws you once lived by. They situate you in an apartment all your own, but it's ever-expanding floors can't compare to the house you once laid to rest in. Oneyea Monocular preaches of chances for joy and a lifetime and leisure, but what wins out in the end? Compliance and complacence in a place that you've never known, may never come to know? Or a place now far away, always out of reach? Your happy end is in your reach. The question is: Is it worth it?

Academy City.

The world's first and foremost technological capitol and pioneer in the field of psychic powers. In this futuristic city live Espers; human beings gifted with incredible psychic powers. They are taught to use and develop their powers within the confines of the city's specialised 'Power Curriculum Program'. Those who fail to display any power whatsoever are classified as Level 0 and are swept aside in favour of their more talented peers.

However, there also exist people able to use magic. These magicians fight a covert war against the Science Side of Academy City, operating in secrecy to undermine their enemies.

Now, a new threat emerges as a third faction disturbs the delicate balance of the Secret war. Join old friends and new faces as they fight for the future of the world and their own survival.
