So I have Lillie here who's had somewhat of a similar past like Shion. Her father disappeared and she knows nothing about him whereas her mom went totally insane and wants nothing to do with her daughter. So they can relate on some level? Despite that, Lillie's slowly moving forward in hopes her mother will get better and return to her. Any who, I feel like Lillie's bright and caring personality will be good for Shion. She's genuinely a nice person and definitely helps people who are in need. That's just who she is! Nebby will also be around and that's Lillie's pokemon friend. Lusamine is the president and head of Aether Foundation and also Lillie's mother. She runs Aether Paradise which was supposed to be a utopia for pokemon but something happened to her that drove her insane the disappearance of her husband. Now, she spends the majority of her life being obsessed with Ultra Beasts specifically Nihilego and wants to live in a world with that UB forever. She feels that her daughter betrayed her by leaving and has only coldness towards her. So the canon point I took Lillie at was around here when her mother went insane. So the relationship she has with her isn't that good as of now.[break][break]
Later down the line, Lillie confronts her mother in Ultra Space and tries to stop her from doing something crazy. That backfires because Lusamine's far too gone now and instead fuses with Nihilego. There's this huge battle and Lillie calls upon the power of Alola's legendary pokemon to set her free. Unfortunately her mother becomes sick but she's back to normal and taken away to recuperate.[break][break]
If you're interested in taking this character, I'm definitely not picky on what canon point you take Lusamine from. There's going to be a lot of emotional drama regardless if she's crazy or not. Lillie's going to be afraid to reach out to her mother because she knows something is wrong. She won't know if Lusamine will lash out at her or try to hurt her. Despite that, Lillie loves her mother and is having a hard time dealing with all these emotions. She wants her old mom back. uwu[break][break]
So yeah, it's totally up to you with how you want to role play her. I'll love you either way. To be honest, she's like my second favorite character in the game and I was so surprised when she turned out to be crazy AF. Like when you meet her in the game, she's hella chill and nice but then she does a complete 180. It's crazy. She'd be shocked to see him here and probably upset at him for leaving her. But to be honest, she's going to be happy having her brother around. I've always wanted to role play as Lillie because she's like the best girl but I could never find the perfect site. When I found yours, I had to do it and I'm so happy with how it turned out! And hush about the plotting. What you came up with is ten times better than what I could ever come up with it. I was low-key hoping you'd throw in Mar Mar though ♥Mutou Yugi - So this is definitely where I can see the most development for Lillie and maybe even Yugi? They both have so much in common and I feel like Lillie will be able to open up more around him. I kinda get this Sun & Moon protagonist vibe from him and they were the ones who helped Lillie gain her confidence. I know it won't be so easy for Yugi as it was for the protagonist but it's a start! So like everything else you said, I love it! Yugi's been on the island a lot longer than Lillie has and she's still having trouble getting used to it all. I can totally see her asking Yugi for help with her schoolwork, asking a ton of questions about the island, and where can she find the best clothing store lol. Lorelei Ackermann - Lillie misses her mother dearly and even though she's a crazy person, she still loves her. So, she's trying to deal with those feelings on top of all the other things. I wouldn't be surprised if she seen some similarities between Lorelei and Lusamine which can be either good or bad. For Nebby it's perfect, because this chick has a full party of pokemon for it to play with and Nebby's going to want Lillie to come along whether she likes it or not. So while the babies are playing, Lillie and Lorelei can get to know each other and talk about pokemon. Marley Wallace - OMFG YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS ♥♥ Okay but seriously Leap, this is the greatest thing I've seen in my life. I can totally see Marley getting the wrong idea when she finds Lillie chasing Nebby around. It's not running for it's life Marley, I promise. But what I'm most excited about is the relationships between Mew/Cosmog and Marley/Lillie. Lillie's going to be amazed when she finds out Marley is a pokemon, a legendary at that. She's going to want to know everything about her because that's cool AF and none of the books she's read said anything about this. She'll also be curious to see if she knows any information on Nebby. And we all know how Nebby's going to be lol. As such, conformity usually doesn't affect her, as she's very sure of who she is, and what's more, she's happy with herself and her decisions. To put it mildly, she doesn't give a flying feather what people think of her. Of course, she is always searching and finding ways of bettering herself even if those said ways are usually way out of her comfort zone. As a friend, Lillie is extremely kind, caring, and considerate. She's the type of person who'll constantly fuss over your well-being, would drop everything that she'd been doing in order to come to your aid, or give you advice if you so seek it from her. Lillie finds others very interesting and will take the time to get to know people she finds herself with. She's generous to a point, especially to those who are very much in need of something. However, Lillie is quite cautious around people she is unsure of... mainly due to a certain pokemon in her bag. That's right. Nebby is usually hidden away in her bag she keeps with her at all times. She's afraid that if her pokemon friend were to reveal itself in front of a stranger, they'd take it away and send it back to Aether Paradise.
