Upon hearing the voice belonging to the name she was looking at, Mami did have to admit that she jumped. Yes she had been standing in front of the other girl's house, but that didn't mean she had expected Akemi Homura to return home at that very moment. But keeping her head held high just as she always did, the blonde turned around to face the other Magical Girl. She looked just the same as she remembered even though they had only met a few times. Then again those few times had also been on the battlefield so perhaps this could also lead to hostility. But she would be ready. Akemi Homura was no match for her at any rate.[break][break]
"I happen to live in this apartment. Although I admit I didn't expect to see you here Akemi." A confident smile fitted confidently onto her fact as she uttered those words, but faded as the other girl simply walked past. From what she could remember, the purple Magical Girl was always self-serving and fighting the Witches for her own purposes... then again this wasn't the world she was used to. For all she knew this could be a different Akemi Homura to the one she had dealt with in the past. There was no chance to let her guard down.[break][break]
The offer was a surprise. After all Magical Girls each had their own motives and their own areas to fight, it was rare for them to be in such close proximity. But then again, Mami had found little reason to guess that this area was protected by another Magical Girl much less one that even possessed Witches. Along those lines, it should theoretically be fine for her to accept the offer. The idea of pizza wasn't quite as appealing as her usual diet nor was it particularly dignified but... perhaps this was the best course of action. Akemi hadn't attacked her yet after all.[break][break]

Taking a step inside, Mami steeled herself for anything that may happen now. Although she had to admit she was hesitant to move any further than where she now stood just inside the apartment after closing the door behind her.

Getting to know someone... hadn't been apart of the plan. Truthfully it had been the last thing that Mami had expected or wanted. Her personality may be warm and welcoming to most, but with the way she had lived her life up until this moment it had been painfully difficult to get close to anyone. Fighting the Witches meant having the Grim Reaper watching over you each waking moment of your existence in addition to the devil known as Kyubey. Yet somehow after coming here she had... relaxed a little. Oh yes she was on her own again with no one to turn to but she had lost her purpose. Her reason. The sole thing that had kept her moving forwards. What was the point in wishing for life when she had nothing after all. [break][break]
Atem was a nice person but when they met he had seemed lost. Almost as though he wasn't sure what to do with himself or how to go about living here. Then again she had been wrong before so it could have been her hopeful heart wishing once again to find someone like her. Just one person who was as alone as she was, unable to rely on others because of past experiences. No one else knew the pain she did though.[break][break]
Still. She had found a friend in Atem.[break][break]
Truthfully the blonde had been looking forward to the tea party that had been arranged. It had been her own idea but had been agreed upon by the other party which made it a friendly get together. Not once had she arranged one of these, although Mami had dearly wished to back in her world for Sayaka and Madoka. They were such sweet girls and would obviously be better company than the devil known as Kyubey. In fact she found herself humming as she set up both the tea set and the cake on the table so it was ready as soon as Atem arrived. Which couldn't be long now.[break][break]
Upon hearing the noise from the door a smile would grace her face as she counted her strides before arriving at the entrance. The long-sleeved short dress she wore swayed as she made her way there, finally taking a deep breath before opening the door. Yes he had made it here on time just as arranged. The light feeling she had in her chest... this was the hope she had lost so long ago.[break][break]
"Welcome. Please, feel free to come in." And she would open the door to invite her guest inside. Hopefully the setup was satisfactory.

A world like this... many people might think that it was a land of second chances. Especially given how much she had been through before arriving. Mami had seen demons and fallen angels alike, each of them powerful enough to scare a normal human silly. But then, she had been on the brink of death before entering that world. It was either fight those fallen angels or die with no mark left remaining on the world. There had only been one natural choice for her.[break][break]
It was impossible to forget what had happened. For a brief moment, she wasn't alone anymore. That single instant where her battles hadn't just been about her, but about Sayaka and Madoka as well. This place had people, but none were like those girls. People who had inspired her and brought meaning to her life beyond simply defending her territory and stopping the Witches. Here there was nothing like that, she was sure.[break][break]
Looking up at each door she passed, one name finally caught her eye. A familiar name which belonged to a person that had caused her much trouble in the past. Her golden orbs locked onto the two words and ended up staring at them for some time, trying to figure out how she could be here after everything that Mami had seen her do.[break][break]
"Akemi Homura..." she muttered to herself, still looking at the name.[break][break]
Finally the blonde would face the door and raise her hand to her chin. Why would she be here? There was no reason that Mami could think of as to why. Then again, she didn't have much choice other than to come here either. But neither would she have denied the chance for a new start like this was a gift from above. Even if it did mean that she had to be alone once again.[break][break]
Then again loneliness was a familiar place to Tomoe Mami.

MAGICAL GIRL
With a transformation item, powers and a strong heart Mami is able to transform and fight forces that normal humans can't see. Mami herself is incredibly graceful in battle, but there is a danger to using her power. Soul Gems (which are literally the soul of it's Magical Girl) will corrupt and become Grief Seeds if left without rejuvenation for too long, turning the Magical Girl into a Witch. Witches possess the Grief Seeds which purify the Soul Gems and thus the cycle of Magical Girls continue. Due to the evident lack of Witches here, this is basically null and void with the state of Mami's Soul Gem being permanently frozen.[break][break]

A flashy battle style for a flashy Magical Girl, Mami is able to summon a range of firearms at will in addition to using a form of yellow ribbon in her attacks. Her ribbons - named 'Regale' - extend from her clothes and can be removed at will to entrap an opponent. Her firearm attacks include 'Tiro Volley' (where she summons a large number of muskets and fires them at an opponent) and 'Tiro Finale' (where she summons a single large musket and sends a finishing attack at an enemy). In addition to these finishing attacks, she does have the ability to summon firearms normally and use them as per normal.
