That said, I am a hardcore shipper of two pairings; Chrom/Robin and Lucina/Robin. In fact, most of the time she'll go along with it just to get it over with. Acquaintances, contacts, and casual encounters are perfectly fine, and she's very cordial to others. But getting her to accept true friendship? That'll take time, patience, and the desire to climb the walls guarding her heart. Are those? FFX-2 lyrics I see??? For a plotter?? Filled with Fire Emblem characters? Sign me the heck up. Hi, I'm bad at plotting, but let's do this because Robin and Azura are precious and deserve to be in lots and lots of threads.

@robin + Nikki
Unconventional duo, but amnesia buddies! … Sort of. Nikki spent a couple years of his life suffering from trauma-induced amnesia – which ended up with him surrounded by people who wanted him dead while he, himself, had no idea why; not a very positive experience. That, paired with the fact that he's a stinking bleeding heart who tries to make himself look #buff'n'tough , makes me think that he'd probably be insanely sympathetic toward Robin's second bought of amnesia. His own personal experience was such a nightmare that he'd probably go out of his way to try to help her get her lost memories back, good or bad, regardless of whether or not it's possible. Heck it, especially if it's impossible. Robin, herself, probably doesn't remember being a tactician (unless she does, in which case?), but her tactical prowess carries over, which would actually be a huge asset in Nikki's line of work. He'd never specifically tell her why he's asking her to tell him about tactics all the time, but expect him to hound her about stealth and like at every given opportunity the moment he finds out she's a prodigy.

These two are actually a pretty good foil for each other – off the top of my head, Robin's one smart cookie and as witty as they come, whereas Nikki's got the smarts and tact of a chimpanzee – so it'd be fun to see them interact with one another! Hardest part would be figuring how to get 'em in the same place, but seeing as the library is a wellspring of knowledge, so maybe Nikki shows up looking for books and they end up talking? That, or they're both in Moon Block. Not the closest neighbors, but... it could work!

@azura + Hatsune Miku
If there's one thing a person thinks of when they see both Azura and Hatsune Miku, it's well, maybe water with Azura, but otherwise singing! Azura, hands down, has the prettier voice, but Miku makes up for it in passion, and also probably vocal range. Hard to compete with a computer program. You've got Azura listed as a singer, which I assume would mean she's a professional singer around the island? Depending on her popularity and how big of concerts she puts on, it's possible that these two could get together and do a big duet show... type... thing? Either way, Miku gets around the island pretty fast – literally, when she can race through any electronic device at a rapid speed – so she probably heard about Azura/heard her amazing singing voice pretty early on into Azura's stay on the island and sought her out from there. Miku's permanently hyped to meet other people who love music as much as she does, particularly when it comes to vocals, so having a singing buddy would be a dream come true. She's persistent enough to try to worm her way through Azura's mistrusting nature and natural walls, although whether or not she succeeds is ultimately in your hands. Either way, expect a pest who doesn't eat, doesn't sleep, and isn't physical. o/

Okay, though, no lie, the part that made me the most happy, hands down, from your reply was the fact that you read up on the Mindcrime plot, like. I HAVE BEEN... TRYING FOR LITERALLY YEARS NOW... Aaaaaaah, good ol' class Robin, she's. So good. C': Her constantly pouring over blueprints and tactical books would be a good way to segway into the “teach me tactic, senpai!” plot, honestly, since seeing it visually will make him immediately assume she's either: a) a huge nerd, or b) really good at it already and seeking to expand her personal bank of knowledge. Chess is good, too, (bonus if she later challenges him to a match and gets to whoop his bUTT) but probably not cause for him to approach her about advice. Also, I'm interested to hear about your potential future ideas, but if those are hush-hush for now, I guess I'll have to wait and seeeee.

A meet up while heading back to the apartments sounds like a plan, then! Pfft, the idea that they cross paths because he's mixed up their apartment numbers and Robin catches him trying to “break into” her apartment popped into my head. No first impression quite like walking in an a weird guy cussing up a storm and swearing over why his key won't open her door. Whatever setup you'd like to go with is fine by me, though. =w=b

Ahaaaa, glad to hear we had the same idea in mind! Singers gotta unite! >8O Having known each other for a bit before hopping in on threads sounds good to me, though! Miku's never actually gotten to write music for herself – all of the songs she knew up until her Island transfer, and even those that came after were all created by people using her voice bank – so this'll definitely be a learning experience. I can just imagine her running up like, “AZURA, AZURA, AM I DOING THIS RIGHT?”, and then providing critique on Azura's own works later on to return the favor for helping her out.

You offered to start up a thread for Nikki and Robin, so I can cover getting one started for these two! The park or beach would be good for privacy for song writing, I imagine, but that aforementioned cellphone's gonna be about as good as it gets for Miku being... present. @robin & Hanako Ikezawa

Librarian + Hanako + Robin being quite chill and understanding = Friendship probably yes. Especially if Robin manages to be maternal in a non-demeaning way; if they hit things off very well, Robin may become something akin to a Lily-lite for Hanako. Someone she goes to when she needs comfort, support, or just someone to talk to. Or maybe Robin will be overbearing and ruin everything. Or Hanako will freak out over something, and make things super awkward. Either way sounds interesting to write out. Not sure what Robin would make of Hanako, but that's what threads are for, right? Maybe she'll confide worries/etc about losing her memories at some point. I dunno.

For an idea for a "proper" meeting thread; Hanako is an avid and voracious reader, so she will frequent the library. Maybe Robin strikes up a conversation on a slow day? Maybe something goes wrong at the library when Hanako is there? I've got her at the point where she's feeling settled enough in the island to actually start trying to make connections with people, so maybe she can try to strike up a conversation with Robin in a halting, awkward manner. The former two are probably more likely, but the latter would be more funny. To probably everyone but Hanako.

At any rate, there's nothing wrong with a good ol' fashioned, no-strings-attached friendship every now and again. That's what I see, anyway. Maybe you have a better idea.

Don't really have anything for Azura, despite/because they are both kinda guarded and slow to trust/approach others. Maybe if someone else mediated interactions between them?
