Hat all, it's Lux here. I'm not the best at making these, both because there's little of interest to learn of me, and because half the time I make them on mobile and look like a gosh darn fool as a result.
A little about me, though... Well, I love video games a heckin lot. Persona, Suikoden, Shadow Hearts, Fire Emblem, the list goes on and on. Mind you, I'm not GOOD at games, so hit me up if you ever want to trash someone in Smash Bros. Outside of that, I love anime/manga such as the Fate series, Gintama, Hunter x Hunter, JoJo, and... well, that's another list that goes on awhile :')
Outside of those interests there isn't much going on. Currently unemployed but searching for opportunity, and also intending to go back to school next year for Japanese!

An alarmingly familiar face!
[attr="class","notleftblurb"] [attr="class","notleftblurb2"] Nikki + Goro[break] -screams internally with giddy excitement- HELLO FELLOW PERSONA FAN!!!!! Don't think I haven't noticed all the references all across the site (including the Persona 3 placeholder pic for one of your templates). If you ever need someone to join you in capslocking OST lyrics with you, I'm your girl. I don't care who says Last Surprise is repetitive IT GIVES ME LIFE. Trying to not act like a giddy fool that you've just called my app beautiful shuasahida Goro is my favorite character so it means a lot when people are like "oh hey you did alright, kid". I hope fate turns around and allows you to play through the rest of the game because it is PHENOMENAL. If you wanted, my friend Angel watched a playthrough of it and would absolutely be willing to share the link with you, I'm sure!!  And no worries about calling him Akechi or Goro, for real. You can call him Billy and I would accept it. [break][break]But okay, okay, I'll stop yelling for a few seconds here long enough to plot (but for real Persona yelling? Eh? Eh? Hit me up~) [break][break]The funny thing is, I definitely had these doppleganger thoughts spiraling through my head as well. GOTTA LOVE MISTAKEN IDENTITIES. Depending on where the heck Angel and I are with Goro and Akira (what are forum timelines? We just don't know), this reaction of Goro's could be hilarious(ly angsty), panicked, confused, etc etc. Basically it'll be a good time. x100 good time if Goro and Akira are  and then Goro sees Nikki walking around. Like, damn. LOVE ME SOME AWKWARD ENCOUNTERS. [break][break]As for Omega Five, I'm only aware of what's on the information page, but if there's more reading up I can do on them I'd be more than happy to consume new information! Judging by what I know so far, I can't say that Goro is necessarily willing to join them. Yet. At the moment he's dealing with the trauma story that is, well, his life, which came to a tragically early end. He's not currently looking to go roughing anyone up, but if Omega Five is the sort to persuade people, I could see that becoming an option down the line. While he doesn't want to get his hands dirty now, he's rather good at dirtying said hands, and at turning a blind eye to the guilt that blooms as a result. In the present, though, as you said, he's liable to end up on the watch list which I am MORE THAN OKAY WITH because that sounds really cool and I'm ALWAYS up for making my characters live a hard life 8] [break][break]For Nikki following Goro about and observing our resident dork sweater boy, I'll offer an idea of my own, as well! One that we can scratch off the list for now, or consider for later use! Considering Goro's fragile mental state at the moment and lack of recovery time, he's much more liable to snap at someone if pushed the wrong way. How strongly he reacts depends on who is pushing which buttons, but if the situation calls for it I could see him zapping out a Persona for a good ol' Mementos style party. Cue Omega Five dog piling him. [break][break]As I said, that can be shelved for later if we even want to go that route xD I'm also loving the idea of Nikki being all 8| coolie spy dude and Goro just whipping out his Law and Order skills to be like "I think you're SUSPICIOUSly handsome hello older Akira". An unpleasant boy trying to convince the world that he's anything but. It might come as a surprise to those who knew him before, but Goro purposefully refrained from returning to the detective life yet again. His career was fraudulent, his motives entirely selfish. While he genuinely enjoyed the cat and mouse game of hunting down criminals, he needs a little time away before he can throw himself back into something that is so tarnished by the sins of his past.[break][break]
After effects from the self-induced psychotic breakdown that he triggered before coming here are liable to sneak their way into interactions with others. Memory problems and mood swings often crop up and can escalate to violent outbursts that he more than likely won't remember. It's unknown if there's any help available to mend his scars. Goro likes to pretend he's completely fine, and there's no issue at all in the slightest.[break][break]

Goro will certainly put on a front of being everyone's friend, but below the surface, there's always another story brewing. Suspicion and doubt mar his every interaction as if to save him from ever making any sort of progress in the field of having any sort of support system whatsoever.
[break][break]There's only ever been one person who came close enough to befriending Goro, and even then, he feels the bond came a little too late in the game for it to have made a difference.
[break][break]What's easier than making a friend out of Goro is making an ally out of him. He'll generally support those who have society's best interests in mind and will condemn the nefarious villains of the world. Why? Well, it's certainly not for anyone's benefit other than himself. He craves praise and recognition, even while trying to lay low and keep a low-profile in the small cafe he's been employed at.[break][break]

This is a boy who somehow manages to find something to dislike in everyone he meets no matter how kind the soul. Due to his traumatic childhood, he readily assumes that any source of kindness can and will be easily shattered once the other person discovers his undesirable origins. That and, well, he didn't exactly grow up to be a saint.
[break][break]Where the relationship goes from here depends on the other person. How obnoxious are they, and will they pose any sort of interruption from Goro living his normal, quiet life? If the answer is yes, down the toilet you go. He's also immensely unfond of dishonest people, despite he himself having a terrible track record in this field. Manipulation, lies, coercion, he despises all of it.
[break][break]Do be careful of becoming a true enemy of Goro. He's rather unpredictable what with his mind never fully recovering from the psychotic breakdown and all. At his worst, he'll become violent, lash out, and possibly try to incur more breakdowns.[break][break]

In practice, Goro is utterly inexperienced. He's refrained from allowing anyone to get close in this regard and has lacked any particular drive to seek out even the most base levels of pleasure from another being. It came down to not only his misanthropy but also his need to cultivate a very particular image in the public eye. There was a certain purity to the young celebrity detective that couldn't be compromised at any cost.
[break][break]Goro hasn't quite shaken the desire to keep up appearances just yet. It's a habit ingrained into his mentality for years prior, and it would take more than a few days in a new world to make the teen ready for genuine love and affection.
